St Mary's GAA Club is a community-based club where everyone is welcome to join.

We develop and promote Gaelic Games in our area. We promote individual development and well-being and strive to enable all of our members to achieve their full potential in their chosen roles.

The club provides the youth of the community a chance to develop in a positive sporting environment while learning the values of teamwork and developing their social skills.

Our club provides a safe place to enjoy sports and make friends. The personal development of all its youngsters is an important goal of the club through commitment, personal dedication and discipline.

St Mary's GAA Club helps to create a sense of local identity and is an important social outlet for many of its members and players as well as a source of enjoyment for its many supporters. The Club has a long tradition, and it is hoped that we can continue that well into the future. The development of young players and our strive to provide top-class facilities are vital to ensure the club will be here for many years to come.

Membership is a vital part of ensuring the club’s continued success and development. Whether you are a player, coach, supporter, parent of a player or member of the wider community, we welcome all new members.

The monies received is funnelled towards: the maintenance of facilities, playing equipment, affiliation fees, insurance, utility bills, team preparation and other administrative costs.

Through payment of your membership, this allows you a number of additional benefits, depending on the membership which you avail off.

  • Playing membership ensures that you are covered in the event of a sports injury under the GAA Injury Benefit Fund whilst playing or training with your team and membership is a requirement to be eligible to play for your team.

  • Giving support to your club, both financially through the membership fee but more importantly through participation in club activities.

  • Having a say through voting rights in how the club is run at the AGM for agreed membership types

  • For members, 18 years & over, access to GRMA the new GAA Membership Card program providing benefits and rewards to you, as a GAA member. Using the Card or membership number will enable GAA Members to benefit from partner discounts, special offers and earn points for going to games.
